Is this a good idea?

I have a 800 T-Bird + MSI K7T-Pro. I was thinking about overclocking it to 1 GHZ with a new MSI K7T Pro2 to add stability. Is this a good deal/idea?

Well if you have the money then it can be done but you will need a heavy duty heat sink and fan to keep everything inside cool. Apart from that it is not a bad idea but if I was you I would just stick with the set up you have now for abit more and wait for the K7T Pro2 to drop in price as they do, then go for it!
