Is this a good deal?

I'm looking to buy a miata as a daily driver. I would be commuting 50 miles to work. The MSRP is listed as $29,530 and my offer is around $25,000. Is this a good deal or should I just get a used car and wait for the future model?

I remember reading a few days ago that there are a lot of good deals even on the PRHTs. The poster was saying that not long ago it seemed like there was a shortage and dealers were marking them up, but now they're going for way below MSRP because of the economy.
I can't find the thread though.

I got my first Miata wave yesterday driving home on the highway. Someone in a grey NC drove by and waved wildly-- Looked really excited. I blinked my popups back!

I loved my '07 NC soft top Touring. I miss driving it every day. My only regret was not getting the PRHT.

I traded it in for an '08 RX-8 because I needed a 3rd seat. The RX-8 handles almost as good as the MX at slow speeds and is even better at high speeds.

I get my open air fix riding my Suzuki until I can find a decent '94-97 Miata beater to turn into a track car.
