I wanted to ask your opinion on a prospective purchase. I'm not a powergamer, I just want to be able to run arma 2 DAYZ mod and maybe arma 3 @ 1680x1050

I heard someone say that this processor will NOT run on that motherboard because the max is 95w. Is that true?

Another option would be to upgrade my current machine, ie the mobo/processor and memory. What would be the best intel mobo and proc for £375? (could I still use a ATI HD4850?)

According to TomsHardware the intel i3-2100 is better for gaming: (And is 65 watt TDP instead of 125 watt)

The ATI 4850 will run perfectly with new motherboards and intel CPUs.
