not bad... actually...

id remove AOL as soon as it arrived. better yet i would format c: and reinstall xp pro. IIRC most dells come with an OEM XP disc

Not a bad deal at all really. And like relax said you should format the drive and reload the os asap. Dell puts a lot of stuff on there pcs that most people do not use and it just slows everything down. Dell does include a full version of which ever OS you purchase with your machine.

And also this model seems to be the 8600C which is different from 8600 ?

Can somebody tell me whats the difference ?

then again Dells havent been as bad as compaq or HP IMHO...

Then again any PC with AOL preinstalled as the primary ISP usually comes with about half a drive full of aolware
