(click) Here is the card...

It is the MSI NX7800GTX-VT2D256E 7800GTX 256M - is this a good deal?

Anyone rinning these as a SLi setup?

Thinking about my 2nd system going with a pair of these VS. (1) X1900XTX...

(sorry to edit - I was off on the pricing)

A 7900GT will beat it and can be vmodded. But I agree, a X1900XT is a better deal.

Save yourself $70 and get this....

If he wanted to SLI that would be a good pick, but judging from the fact that he is picking a sub $300 part I doubt that he want to drop $530 and really the $180 difference between the 1900xt and the GX2 isn't worth it IMO.

I got the MSI NX7800GTX 2 of them for $199.99 each, work great (and thats from someone who favors ATI)!

They the special edition cards MSI made for short time.. and only just a few more left at that price I guess.

7800GTX/7900GT>1900XTX for most games

but sli 7800GTX may consume a lot of power, anyway what turns out cheaper?

also, 1900xt will have better iq, and ask others whether despite lower fps, is it smoother or not?

Wrong. A single x1900xtx will get higher fps in almost every game than a 7800gtx or 7900gt, and better IQ.

wtf are you talking about? the 1900xtx will own the gtx and 7900 in games. even WITH image settings turned up. nub. 7800gtx won't consume much more power than the xt, or xtx.

An X1900XT for around $330 would be the way to go.

That's a good price for that GPU, but you get better performance for your money elsewhere.

Thats actually a pretty good deal..

2 7800GTX will be faster than 1900XTX for only 40bux more and run quieter.

Uhh, a 7800GTX is practically equivalent to a 7900GT stock for stock, so why is everyone saying a $200 "7900GT" is a bad deal? Show me where you can get one for $200. You can't.

Yeah, if you plan on comparing performance to a volt modded 7900GT, it won't be as fast, but how many people are going to volt mod their cards? 0.005% of the video card purchasing population?

My only problem with this deal is that the seller has no RR. Buyer beware.

I think people are looking at it from the overclocking point of view - the 7900GT is better for overclocking, and I forgot the power consumption of the 7900GT should be lower than the 7800GTX although it is only a few watts

It is better for overclocking, but there are many people who don't overclock, and infinitely less that are willing to volt mod.

Just explaining why people were saying it was a ok deal, if you dont want to overclock then it is a good deal
