Is this a good deal? "PA SYSTEM IN A BOX"

I was thinking about buying one of these....does that look like a good deal for a mini package? I've got a small band, only 5 members(4 + drums) so this would be perfect for us.....just wondering if i could do better in the price department......suggestions, thoughts?

The power handling is pretty low. It should be okay for playing small clubs strictly. But then again if you play clubs they should have their own PA system.

It would mainly be used for church social halls.......no need for too much power....

That's about as low as you can go pricewise as far as I've seen.

$300 for a TON better amp and speakers

Just my 2 cents -- I'd rather spend more for better quality. But then, I'm not you and I'm not in your situation.

that does look like a better system, power/quality wise....but doesn't look quite as portable, and only one channel.....but that might be good for a permanent setup, however, i think our chuch is working on getting a new sound system, i was thinking either for practice, or when we play elsewhere(somewhere that may not have a PA)

Dont get them.... take a look at a quality speaker:

They have onboard mackie amps and run about 700 a pair... I almost got them for DJing, but decided I really didnt want to DJ any more.... Get poles to mount them.
