Is this a good deal on an Ethernet Cord?

Shipping is a bit much. CallCCT has an 100' 5e for $9, and last I remember, they ship free. Minimum order amount changed to $10 instead of $5 though, so you'd get an additional cheap cable from there to place the order.

It's not bad, but you'd probably be better getting something small like that locally to save on the shipping.

I just get 1000ft of CAT5e/CAT6 for about ~$50 from your local Home Depot, then just add the ends with a crimper.

then you have to buy a crimper and the plastic end pieces which ends up costing more money, especially if he only wants one cable for the xbox to live.

http://callcct.com/ has a 8.75 6 month rating (so i'm assuming they are reliable). The price different isn't much difference, the earlier post said 10 bucks for the cable or the newegg at 12-13 bucks.

25 ft for 4.00
50 ft for 7.00
75 ft for 8.00
100 ft for 9.00

assortment of cables. as long as your xbox isn't very far, you can get a couple of cables and use the others for something else.

It really doesn't matter where the cable is from, just that CallCCT is a tad cheaper, and you can get one more cable while you're at it (to get to the minimum purchase price).

I would have to say that that is a good price. I just paid 14.95 +tax each for two 75 footers. And that is actually pretty good for a local shop.
