Is this a good deal on a laptop?

Hi. I just wanted to get some input. I want to find out if this is a good deal or not.
HP Pavilion N5425 laptop
Has a mobile AMD Athlon CPU at 900MHz
256MB RAM
20GB Hard Drive
DVD/CDRW Combo Drive
Everything works on it, it just needs an AC Adapter

Someone is offering this laptop to me for $400.
I wanted to see if this is a good deal for this machine, and what it is actually worth.
