Is this a good deal on a 15'' LCD monitor (for $200)?

At Staples

I don't understand these monitors, but I could get it for $200 and was wondering if it's a good deal or not? What makes an LCD monitor a good monitor?

15" LCD for 200 is a steal no matter what brand

however the many specs listed on staple is not listed, such as contrast ratio, and brightness

If it's an Envision, it's an AOC LM-500.

I have 3 in my games room, a friend of mine has just bought around 10 for his office. They're OK. The most impressive thing is the Auto Adjust - it works really well, unlike some budget LCD panels - no jitter. When going from my Sony N80 straight to my other PC's I can see the difference (not in the size of the screeen but in the quality, obviously) - but well the N80 is seven times the price.

I'm still in two minds as to whether I should have got quality 17" monitors, as all the other PC's will be used for is to play net games. It may be psychological, but sticking an Iiyama VMPro 450 on one of the PC's, I seem to play Urban Operations better... But if I did get the tubed monitors, the room would have felt even smaller.

Long-term reliability may be an issue, but we got 3-year on-site warranties.

EDIT: Whoopsie, I actually clicked on the link and it wasn't an LM-500. Er, disregard the above, it all applies to the LM-500. Sorry. Sheesh.

John, I think that's a great idea, I already thought about doing that. I think I'll hold out for 17.4'' Planar that I plan on buying in a year or so. By that time it should be half the price.
