Is this a good deal for 5D4N of going ski/snowboarding?

club on campus organizing about 100 ppl on a trip to Tahoe after finals in dec.
cost will be 185 include transportation and lodging. equipment/lift tix will be about 20 each day.

is it a good deal?
me miss the snow, LA is DamN HOT !!

what school do you go to? There's a bigger trip out to Colorado (Breckinridge). It's $440 to go. Transportation, kegs, lodging and lift tickets. Rentals will be about $30/day. 4 days of skiing/boarding with 5 nights there. It's callled the All Cal. All the UCs are going this year. This is right after all the UCs have their finals.

The trip to Tahoe is decent. I'm assuming It's only for a weekend. Heavenly regular season lift tickets are about $60 I think this year. But that price is pretty normal. But from what I was told, the one the UCs go to usually include the lift tickets, gear you have to provide in addition.
