Is this a good cell phone plan?

The offer is: 1000 local anytime minutes + free unlimited incoming local + free unlimited text messaging + free unlimited mobile-mobile minutes, all for $39.95/month. Since I will be starting my residency as a doctor in a few months, I need free incoming and free incoming text messaging (it will act as my pager).

If anyone can suggest a better plan, please post. I'm new to the market and any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I don't know, for $23/month CDN, I get 200 daytime, unlimited evenings at 6pm and weekends, enhanced VM, Call ID, 3-way (free night/wkend), 18c/min national LD.

i'm leaning that way too.. but want to be sure that it sounds like a good plan before I pursue it. Anyone have/had US Cellular?

I think it'd work pretty well if you think you'll be getting a lot of incoming calls.

Looks good to me, then
