it would come to $134 shipped, and for that price range I'd go 7600GT or X850XT, both of which will spank it.

Thanks for the tips. I was temporarily overcome by a bit of nostaliga. I remember paying $399.00 for a 6800 GT when they were hot.

That X850XT looks pretty sweet. Looking for a good mid-range card. That looks hard to beat...

While that 6800GT isn't a bad card at all, I have to say that X850XT is a much better card & thats what I'd go with myself.

This site show the 7600GT is a little bit better than the X850XT and you get SM3

But i guess the X850Xt is cheaper if you don't mind not having SM3.

Crysis's DX9 path runs on SM 2.0
SM 3.0 and HDR are overrated IMO, especially when HDR cancels out AA on Nvidia cards.

Valve has implemented HDR through SM 2.0 that allows HDR+AA at the same time. SM 3.0 is flawed IMO.

Based on Newegg prices, I'd still have to say that the X850XT is the deal to beat... however if you can afford to spend $165 & wait for a $20 MIR, this card looks pretty damn nice too:
