A coworker is wanting to sell me his old "gaming" PCfor $250. I am wondering if its a good buy and if it'll be a decent gaming computer. Not a huge gamer, mainly wanting it for iracing and maybe a few other sports games here and there.

Specs are:
AMD Phenom II x6 2.7ghz processor
16 gb of ddr 3 memory
500 gb HDD
R6 260x Video Card
22 inch vizo monitor
keyboard
gaming mouse

Windows Experience ratings:
System Score 5.9
Memory Score 7.6
CPU Score 7.6
CPU Sub Agg Score 7.7
Video Encode Score 7.5
Graphics Score 7.1
Dx9 Subscore 7.1
Dx10 Subscore was a 0, not sure what that means
Gaming score 7.1
Disk Score 5.9

Those parts for that price - might as well. I assume you have seen it in use for what you plan to do with it. If you are happy, go for it.

$220 no more. A 2.7GHz x6 is seriously outdated by now, fine for older sports games though. Not for 2015 AAA.
