Is this a fried Motherboard?

MB wont post. The Monitor doesnt get a signal (just flashes). HD light doesnt flash, wont boot from floppy.

When the Comp. was turned on, it got to detecting the IDE drives and just froze. After a hard reboot, its at this point, nothing. All the fans are running though and it does detect a missing CPU (beeps) but doesnt detect missing ram.

I have tried:

Reseating the ram.
Reseating the CPU.
Removing all drives but the HD (even tried without any drives).
Removed all cards but the video card.
Reconnecting power (I know the PS is working as the CDrom drive power light comes on, plus the fans)

Still the same dead PC? Any Ideas? Remember I cant get into the Bios, it doesnt even get that far.

What MB is it? I would say that if you're getting the missing CPU signal even after reseating it, the MB is defective. Any chance the power supply could be defective?

Good luck!

Abit BX6 with celeron 700

No, it only detects (bbeps) the missing CPU when its not there 😉
and just sits there doing nothing when installed.

yeah check if your PS is working ok. Did you try to OC the cpu? sometimes reset the cmos data will help. Is there any screw fell on your mobo ? I fried my mobo one time because of this.

Nope, turned it off for the night, next day locked @ ide, and never anything else.

Looks bad 🙁
its getting juice since it will beep with no cpu... but no beep with no ram ... thats not a good sign... i think its fried (at least partially fried)
