A buddy of mine got a "dead" computer (well, a computer with problems, slightly older), and is cannibalizing it for parts. He wants to upgrade his PC to 8GB of DDR2-800.
I happen to have 8GB of DDR2-800, that I just bought last month for around $100.
Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800
2x (2x2GB)
He wants to trade me:
2x2GB Gskill DDR2-800 (the common blue ones, I've used these before too, and they are good) from his main rig (few years old, will overclock to DDR2-900)
and
2x1GB DDR2-667 OEM RAM (untested)
2x512MB DDR2-667 OEM RAM (untested)
AMD AM2 X2 6000+ 3.0Ghz 89W CPU (untested)
IDE DVD burner (untested)
The CPU, if fully working, appears to go for around $35-40 on ebay. I would be using it in a rig, not reselling.
