Is this a decent PSU or no?

If it's not giving you problems, then it's sufficient enough it seems.

I have 350 watt 3.3V@24A, 5V@28A, 12V@12A powering:

P4 2.6@3.06ghz
2x256mb of RAM
2 HDDs
2 DVD drives
4 case fans (1 LED)
1 light tube

It's actually not too bad, but I have to clean the power supply once in every 6 months or the dust inside results in poor heat dissipation and my 3.3 v rail drops too low. Otherwise it's doing OK.

I wouldnt worry too much if you've had this power supply for a long time and it hasn't given you any system crashes or reboots.

Since you've had it for so long, you might want to open it and clean all the dust out of it (your warranty is probably up anyways).

That is one of the Fortron budget line PSUs. It would be nice if it was a more recent design with the output weighted more to the 12V side. But 13A is pretty good for an older design 300W PSU. As long as you are using the P4-12V connection for CPU power, you shouldn't have any problem. I haven't heard anything negative regarding Fortron's budget line PSUs. I have run my stuff on a 250W Sparkle with no problems.

Thanks, actually its pretty new ( NOS anways :) )...I liked the case and it came with the PSU but I was considering upgrading it.
I suppose I might as well just keep on using it and if a problem occures then ill worry about it.

I was about to upgrade my Dell 8300s PSU for the 6800 GT I have coming but after looking around its really not a bad unit for a 300 watter, 18amps on the + 12.

I might have moved the 8300s PSU to the Aopen case and put in a stout Enermax or something in the 8300 but I think Ill just save the money for now and leave both as is.
