Is this a decent deal on an HD7790?

Hello,

Looking to get an entry/mid level card for moderate gaming. It sounds like the HD7790 is a good "bang for buck" candidate.

Newegg has a the ASUS HD7790-DC2OC-1GD5 for $95 AR.

Is this a decent deal?

It sound like the card was going for closer to $70 about a month ago after a $40 rebate, and I don't want to spend $95 if it is going to be $70 again.

Also, one reason I like this card is that it is supposed to be very quiet. I also use my PC to record music so quiet is appreciated.

Thanks,

I've also had two of those Asus 7790s. I bought them when they were $70 after $40 MIR. Ended up returning them though.

Why did you return them?

Also, do you think that Powercolor is a reliable card? I'm not very familiar with Powercolor.

I originally got them for mining and I figured at 250kH/s, it's pretty much a waste of a PCI-e slot since I don't use milk crates/risers. I returned them and got a HIS 270 for $180 with a free BF4 code which I sold for $30. So I basically got the 270 for $150 which was a much better deal than the $220-$80=$140 for two 7790s since a single 270 gets nearly the same hashrate as two 7790s.

Anyways, from my short experience with Powercolor, this is what I had to say about them in another thread:
Powecolor phone support is amazing. No stupid robots answering the phone... The 3 times I have called them in the past week, someone answered the phone after the first ring and was able to address my issue extremely quickly and efficiently!

Both of the powercolor cards I have are reference models, 4870 & 7970, and I have not used either of them for very long (about a month each), but I have used their support.
