I notice that on the upper right hand corner of both my Compaq laptop and 1 week only Dell 1901f LCD it has some reddish and green bar like on it when I am using internet explorer.

Strange thing is when I close IE it is ok. It doesn't appear anywhere else but just when I use IE. So now I dont know if it is a bad pixel or not. I think it is. You should not see this. I have another Dell C400 laptop and do not see anything of this sort when using any application.

So it is definately a bad pixel do you think? I think it might but just wan to see what you guys thoughts on it is. Like I said you can only see it if your in IE but not any other application on both my Compaq 2500 laptop and my Dell 1901 19" LCD.

If so then I will call Compaq and Dell.

have you tried the latest video card drivers? A dead pixel is a small tiny dot in size of a pixel, and since your's is a bar and doesn't appear when IE is closed, it definetly isn't a dead pixel. Can you take a picture with a digicam (w/o flash) and post it? Either way, best of luck,
Xiety
