In Windows explorer the C drive is a sub folder under the user account not at the top of the tree like Windows 8.

This breaks some older software that I use.
 
After looking at pictures on Bing I see that is the way it is:

Well I fixed it sort of, I forgot about a tweak I used in Windows 8, after removing that the software works correctly even though C: drive is listed under This PC.
 
You're just going to have to get used to the fact that Windows10 is different than 8 and 7. I know you're a little late but c'mon man it ain't a bug....it's your software.
 
I think that you can specify the -FolderRoot: (or something like that) in a command-line to launch Explorer.exe with a different root folder.
