Is this a bottleneck?

obviously, shady himself would not be the bottleneck in your system, but I figure you'd still get quite better results from faster CPU's, and 2200+'s are cheap. then again, its not a "zero frame-rate" issue. I'm assuming games run just fine?

Yeah, they get great rates, but I was asking because I was upgrading my mobo later this week (from a Gigabyte GA-7dxr+ to Asus A7N8X, tired of that old chipset) and was wondering if I should just upgrade the cpu as well. I want everything running as harmoniously as possible.

you can probably sell the 1800+ (use the FS forum 🙂 and get a 2200+ and OC it a bit. should do great.
only if you want. you could always try to OC the 1800, and once it fries get a 2200 😛
