I saw this deal on tigerdirect.com worth $99.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/app...ails.asp?EdpNo=3584463

It comes with:
1. Power Up Black 302 ATX Mid-Tower Case with Front USB, Audio Ports and 450-Watt Power Supply
2. PCChips A13G+ (V3.0) Motherboard - NVIDIA GeForce 6100, Socket AM2, MicroATX, Audio, Video, PCI Express, 10/100 Ethernet LAN, USB 2.0, Serial ATA
3. AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.20GHz OEM Processor
4. Ultra 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz Memory

I really want to load a datawarehouse on this computer. I need to install Windows 2003 Server on it.

I can easily buy a few more GB of RAM to pump it up...but is this deal at $99 worth the price?

How is the price compared to the performance?

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Hello NazimL, and welcome to Anandtech forums.

I would pass on that bundle. The power supply and motherboard that are included are not very good quality IMO, plus the real price would be around $155 after shipping, before a mail in rebate.

I would suggest something like this. Unfortunately it seems to be no longer available, but these deals come and go so keep your eye out for it. It will cost more, but includes a hard drive, a faster dual core processor and gigabit ethernet - a complete system versus a barebones. It is also specifically built to be a server, plus I would trust Dell's warranty more.
