Is this 6800 video card a GT?

The ebay listing below just says 6800. Can any one tell if this is the GT version or a good AGP video card? I am looking for an AGP video card for my kids PC to play kids games like Wall-E, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar 2, Ice Age 3, etc Ice Age 3 seems to be the most demanding requiring at least a 6800GT while the others only require a 6600 or less. If this is a 6800GS for example, perhaps it won't play as well.

the picture leads me to think its a 6600

but from the specs sounds like a 6800

either way i would pass and get a newer card with agp off of a current generation.
 
The description states 12pixel 5 vertex. That would mean it is a 6800 (plain 6800) or a 6800GS. It be a 6800GS because the 6800 plain rarely came with 256mb of vram(at least way back when they were being produced).

The difference between a 6800 and 6800GS was vram speed. The 6800GS had a 25mhz overclock on the core, but used signifigantly faster memory (6800GT spec) for 1ghz memory speed v.s. 700mhz on the plain 6800. The 6800GS came later was was sort of like the mid generation refresh of the 6800.

6800GT/Ultra had 16/6 pixel/vertex and the 6800XT/LE had 8/4 pixel vertex pipes.

The thing about 6800s are they were soft locked, aka with a new bios, you could unlock the last 4 pipes and 1 vertex shader. This sometimes wouldn't work because the part was damaged and that was why it was binned for the lower performing part, but much of the time, it would work perfectly fine. You shouldn't count on it as a surefire bet, but for many people, it was a very nice bonus.
 
For the life of me I can't find any official info or a review of a Galaxy 6800, at least not one that looks anything like that one. But if the seller doesn't say 6800 GT then it's probably not a 6800 GT. On top of that, it looks much too short in length to be a GT.
