Is this 5200 64bit or 128bit memory?

I bought one of these for my grandmother in law's Dell system that has no AGP. It doesnt really if it only has 64bit because I wouldve bought it anyway for the price.
I dont know of any other PCI cards with DX8 function or DX9 function than the old FX cards like this.
Even though I'd probably never buy a ATI card, if they ever made a DX8/9 card.. I wouldnt mind knowing what model out of the many different variations have that. Seems the 9100 Radeons are not in stock anywhere anymore.

The 5500 PCI looked like a great PCI card that was widely available but it was about $100 and I didnt want to spend that much (I'm giving it to her for free).

no they are not. if you browse neweggs 5200s you'll see some plainly labeled 64bit.
theres one thats out of stock here for reference.

in fact, iirc most 5200s have a 64bit memory interface. the 5500s all have 128bit.

Does it matter? It's a 5200, it's going to suck no matter what. Plus you're looking for PCI, so there's no way it will play DX9 games decently. If you just want a card to pull the weight off the CPU, get something cheaper. But don't pretend you can play DX9 games on a 5200, much less a PCI one.
