Couple questions.
Part 1)
I'm in the market for a new 19" LCD monitor. Money isn't too much of a factor. I'm willing to spend up to $600 if the price/performance is worth it. I'm also willing to listen to any great deals on $250-400 monitors. I'm using a 7800 GTX. This Sony Trinitron CRT does do a pretty good job, but after using a really nice LCD monitor at school, my mind is made up to upgrade. Anyway, here is a link to the monitor that I have my eye on:
LG L1981Q Black-Silver 19" 8ms LCD Monitor
So.. do you guys think this monitor is worth the hefty price tag? It does say that there is a $180.00 MIR.. so $385.00 seems like a great deal to me. I wouldn't be surprised if I never saw that rebate, though..
Part 2)
I run part of my home network through a KVM switch. My gaming rig is one of the computers that goes through the KVM. I just realized that I wouldn't be able to utilize DVI with my gaming rig plugged into that KVM. So my question is: are there KVM switches that support DVI? I'd rather not have to use the DVI->VGA connector. I'm also not sure if I should have my gaming rig run through a KVM due to performance loss. It doesn't seem like I'm losing any performance, but I could be wrong.
Thanks in advance all!
