I heard the movie was good, but not great. Danial Day Lewis, on ther hand, is incredible. That guy takes acting to a whole new level.........

I unforunately have not seen mny of the Oscar movies. I want to see No Country for Old Men.............

It is slow at times, but overall it is very good, and there are a bunch of really great scenes

its way TOO good for you...honestly its THAT good!

if you're worried about being bored b/c it's 3 hours, you don't deserve to witness one of the finest performances in the history of cinema.

I found it pretty good until the last 45 minutes or so.

Maybe a DVD director's cut would help pace out that last little bit the of movie, even though it would be longer.

its pretty good but can drag on at times. but daniel day is a beast. dude once again turns in a great performance. but like i stated in the oscars thread as good as it is i still think 'no country' is the better film.

its not even close to 3 hrs long....its barely 2 and a half

and it is worth it. i dont listen to people that say a movie is boring. im not sure how anyone could get bored in this movie.

i guess its not for the Hitman crowd....

I fell asleep just like I fell asleep during Atonement (most overrated movie of the year)

the best thing about the movie was Daniel Day Lewis' performance. the second best thing was johnny greenwood's soundtrack. the directing, plotting, and pacing impressed me less so... then again i don't really appreciate any of Paul Thomas Anderson's movies

I like it better than No Country but I didn't think either was really that good. I think I kept looking for a point or a message or something like that in There Will Be Blood. After the movie was over I realized it was just about the dude being a fucking asshole which is pretty cool, I was just expecting there to be some big lesson or point at the end because it was Oscar nominated.
