You can set it to which ever page you want. Just type in the address in the space provided. You can also go to the page you want and then go into options and click the button "use current"

you got spy ware on your computer or an installed program. try using adaware to clean up your system.

what he said: there may be spyware and other stupid program running on your machine...

some ways to do it:
- repair msie (start > setting > control panel > add/remove program > msie > repair)
- go to regedit and edit HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page from that stupid website to whatever you want
- install and use different browser
- format (ok, maybe not that bad, but hey --- :p )

also, next time you should try avoiding that website ... what was it about anyway? (don't feel like going there to find out)

good luck :)

stndn, i've tried ur way editing the registry. the first time i turn on IE, yeah i can go to my desire homepage, but when i restart IE, the homepage is back to secondpower again.

austin316, i've installed adaware 5.16. removed all the ad, but the problem remains.

this is what the history saids: http://www.secondpower.com/?home=XXX
where XXX is my desire website.
no matter what i put there, it will go to www.secondpower.com ...

so i'm assuming the problem is solved with the uninstaller software?
well, just be sure to avoid them for as long as you don't like them, or just keep their uninstaller software handy, just in case it appears again ....
