Is there tweaks for WinMe ?

I have a amd thunderbird 1.2mhz, nvidia riva tnt2 pro 64meg video card,,,but my system seems slow, menus speeds, pages opening. i know xp has some registry hacks that speeded up my friends pc considerably,and i'm wondering about mine ,,but OS seems so slow,,any TWEAKS for WinMe ?
 
The best tweak I know of is simply:

1. Obtain copy of Win 2k
2. Format current HDD to remove any traces of Win Me
3. Install Win 2k

Seriiously, I gave up on my Win Me b/c it was such a poorly designed OS. My aps were slow, my Video performance was a joke etc..etc...

Spend the $100 (online, or in the "for sale forums")and get a better OS.
