Is there such thing's as Digital Cable testers?

Like how analog cable had testers, does digital have testers too?

I'm assuming they do, most cable companies would need to test out channels and what not.

Or am I just dreaming?

i guess they do test, but by the time it comes to your area (which was a while ago for most folks) its already been evaluated and fixed....thats what i think
