...as a PCI card that gives you extra fan power plugs???? I have a dell machine and the mobo only has 1 fan power plug...
 
Not that I know of. But there are plenty of Molex power to 3-pin fan converters. You won't be able to monitor RPM, though.

Check out 2Cool's website and he should have some stuff that will work for ya.
 
dont really want to spend 15 bucks for something that i dont need (just wanted it as a learning experience), and i just have an extra fan laying around...
 
what I've done b4 is to get a terminal strip from radio shack($1.90) and a spool of their speaker wire($3).Mount the strip in your pc,run power and gnd to it(yellow wire is 12vlt,red wire is 7vlt,black is gnd.Then from it feed your fans.This way you use one connector for the rig,not one per fan.Same deal as the fanbus,cept this is 'hardwired'.
