Is there such thing as "safe, minor overclocking" for my AK31A v3.1 / Athlon XP 1600+?

I just got a Shuttle AK31A rev 3.1 with an Athlon XP 1600+. Right now, with no overclocking of any kind, I get 39C idle and 47C after 2 hours of CPUBurn running. Is there any simple thing I can change (FSB?) that will give me a slight gain in performance without having the worries of hard-core overclocking? Just curious if I can get an extra bit of performance out of the system for free...

Thanks

Nick

Raise the fsb to 140 and you will get an XP 1700. You most likely won't need to boost vcore, but you can give it +.025 just to be on the safe side. At 140fsb your PCI clock will be 35 MHz, or within 5% of stock so you most likely won't encounter any problems unless you have some really crappy devices.
