Is there such as thing as a:

From what I see its always "DVD Burners" or "Combo Drives". Combo drives wont burn DVDs, and DVD Burners... I cant seem to figure out if they burn CDs too.

Most, if not all newer DVD burners will burn CDs just fine. The "combo" drives came out before DVD burners became popular and were just DVD-ROM drives that can burn CDs.

New DVD burners have all the features of the combo drives, and they can burn DVDs. My Lite-on 8x DVD burns DVDs at 8X and burns CDs at 40X

i dont know any DVD burners that won't burn a CD...

Actually a Combo drive is better described as a CD burner that can also read DVDs... My MSI X48 is very nice.
