that can modify/edit the audio stream in a video that i took (avi) from my digital camera?
there's too much bass and i want to make it listen-able... the easier the software is to use, the better. thanks all.

If all you want to do is edit the audio, you should be able to pull out the audio and edit it by itself pretty easily. Then you can put the audio back in the file and hope it stays in sync. VirtualDub can probalby handle all of that except for the actual editing of the audio.
