I've thought about a computer with little to no wires on the outside but Ihave a question. There are little USB adapters for bluetooth that barely take up space and if put behind the computer aren't visible. Can these be used with mice and keyboards bluetooth enabled? If so, why would the MX900 have a base? Or would that be just for charging?

I think it would be neat to have a keyboard wireless to the extent that you can't even see the receiver along with the mouse.
 
If your computer sits on some feet, if you had a small base you could probably mount the receiver upside-down underneath the case. The wire would still be on the outside, but you could cable tie it up all nice and snug so you don't have wires shooting out everywhere.
