Is there such a thing as an internal IR Receiver?

This may be a stupid question, but I searched all over newegg and a few other sites and can't find anything.

I'm looking for an IR receiver that would mount in a 3.5" drive bay or something and would connect to an internal USB port. I'm trying to turn a PC into a HTPC, and would think this would be an ideal solution for the PC to get commands from a remote control and avoid having to use a USB IR cable and secure that somewhere.

Does this even exist? Or what should I be looking for?

other stores carry it and there are other ones like it, but most inexpensive ones are external (though if you have some modding skills it wouldn't be too hard to take an empty 3.5 or 5nch bay and install any receiver in it).

Wait, you're looking for an IR device that fits into the Drive bay of a computer? cause there is an IR header on each motherboard out there...
