Is there such a system to make your speakers wireless???

I am upgrading/selling my Elite receiver and installing a wall mount cabinet system. in order to do this I have to rearrange my 5.1 speaket setup. Is there a device that I can use to make my speakers work wirelessly? Even if it works on a select few.

To make speakers "wireless", they would each need a built in amplifier. This amplifier would have to be plugged into the wall. (I guess you could use batteries!) Your receiver could then be a signal processor with no amplifier, since the amplifier would never be used.

I guess lots of subwoofers have built in amps already, but this is pretty rare in the other channels of a home theater.
