Is there such a saying "Breaking down your Motherboard"?

well say you just got a brandnew motherboard. you start playing with it , overclocking, play with voltage and so on. you start testing and stressin it and all the good stuff. now do you think your board will get anybetter after all that? say you didnt achieve your expected results at the begining, you think you gonna achieve them later? after stressing and testing ? kinda of a neural networks question. the learning theory. anybody?

Only thing I can imagine would be burning in the northbridge, allowing for higher FSB.

Of course I believe in burn in as much as alien abductions: may be possible, but no one has offered me any compelling scientific evidence.

ive never seen anything overclock better over time strictly due to "burn in" or whatever you wanna call it.
i have seen stuff overclock worse tho 🙁
