is there such a device the connect the PS2 or VCR to PC monitor?

like, from one the "red yellow white" wires on a VCR to a standard "pin type" analong monitor or digital flatscreen? is it called a VGA-converter?

yes you can buy an adapter for it someplace

if you connect it through you comp all you need is a TV tuner with a video in

I can connect my PS2 to my comp this wau, you just get a Y adapter for teh audio and feed it into the sound in on the sound card

okay, how bout connecting without a computer? what is the gizmo-gadget adaptor thing called? i just want to show my friend how it looks and how much, that's all.

kinda pricey, but this is the kind of thing you're looking for. you can hook it up directly to a monitor without a pc. My old roommate had one, and he had his xbox hooked up to it too. Only bad thing is that you can't watch tv, and use the pc at the same time. You could only switch between one or the other with the click of a button.

thanks man, but damn it is expensive, my friend doesn't need all that extra function... just the plain connection to the mon....
