Is there something wrong with my laptop lcd?

Ok, this is really annoying me.

Just got this new Asus Z70VA laptop and the screen apparently is messed up. If something white goes black, like when I close a window and show my desktop, there is a reddish imprint of whatever was there that stays up for about 1.5 seconds then fades out.

Sounds off. Replace the video drivers would be the only real software-side thing to try. Past that, contact tech support.

Does it leaves shadows when you watch video or playing games?

could be the backlight of the lcd that isn't working good causing this problem.

That could be... I'm RMAing it to geared2play.com and so it should be fixed shortly. Sucks that this always happens to me though
