Is there something wrong with my digestive system?

Because the mods found my other post offensive, I'll make an honest attempt to make this acceptable and even amiable for my fellow ATOT puritans.

The last time my digestive system released solid waste was on Sunday. It is now Thursday and I still haven't gone #2. I've eaten: 3 eggs, 3 slices of cheese, 4 pork chops, 3 pieces chicken breasts, a bowl of green beens, two stalks of celery, two filets of talapia (fish), about 5 slim jims, a bag of beef jerky, a bowl of mini-wheats, half a potato, and the various sauces associated with some of the meats mentioned (frank's hot sauce on the pork chops, ranch on my stalks of celery, etc.)

Why haven't I gone #2 in 4 days since I've started Atkins. Is this normal?

I think you should have gotten the hint that we dont care about your poop...call your doctor if you are that worried about it

I've noticed that when I was doing an program very similiar to atkins, I would hardly poop either. It is because your caloric intake on the average goes down, and you're definately not getting close to enough fiber. try some fiber supplements and see if that helps.

Since you decided to enlighten me with your kind post, I'd like to mention that I would have called my doctor if I truly was worried about it... before I get worried about, I'd like to get the thoughts of my fellow ATOTers. That is why I posted here, if you haven't figured it out.

i consistently go about 15 mins. right after i eat. but in the morning i go once i get into work and that's on an empty stomach. so i go d00kie about 3-4 times/day. is this normal?
 

Mix these ingrediants in a blender and drink up ;

1 Pint of prune juice
1/2 bar of Exlax
2 doses of Beano
1/2 can of Metamucil

Be prepared for explosive reactions.

Ewwww...my body would be dumping that talapia hell of fast if I ever ate it, I find that fish rather disgusting.

Go see a doctor or try drinking a pint of caster oil :)

I'm 6'1"... in that pic I weighed about 185. I weigh 225 now (pic is 2 years old)

I'd have to agree with yobarman. For what it's worth on 1700 calories/day I'm able to #2 3-4 times/day. They are not big, but I am super-frequent. I don't get much fibre either, but I do get a good intake of protein and carbs and crap like a monster :D

Dude, you're not taking in any carbs and fiber! 'cept for that bowl of cereal.

Atkins is NOT about ZERO carbs!

Buy the book and do it properly!


If you're so worried, drop the dairy and pick up a pkg of Ex Lax.

You need to increase your vegetable intake (roughage) and may have to take psyllium husks for fiber to start. Drink lots of water.
