Is there something wrong with all P35 motherboards out there today?

I've been researching which mobo to buy w/ the 6850 I plan on overclocking and it seems that all the ones that I were considering (Abit IP35, Asus P5B, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3, MSI) have something or the other wrong with them (cold boot issue, stability issue, ram compatibility issue). Now this impression could be due to the fact that only the problems get posted on the boards but not the success stories. I really wanted to get the Gigabyte board but dealing with a DOA 965 version of the board is leaving a bad taste in my mouth for that brand.

On a different note, do any companies out there do an advance replacement or cross-shipping on mobo's and cpu's?

Same thing happened when the 680i mobos came out. Same thing happened when Vista came out. Etc, etc. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
