is there something stronger than a green scrubbie pad which won't damage tiles?

Some peckers discovered I was in the Navy. I got tasked with removing glue from floor tiles.
Years ago somebody thought it would be cool to make up custom welcome mats for our company and place them at the entrances. SOME FOOL put super strong sticky tape or even straight up super glue on the floor under the big mat at the main entrance.
Later, another fool replaced that mat with a slightly smaller one. Some lazy asshole never wanted to scrape up the adhesive left around the edge. Years later I happen along and all of a sudden its a huge issue and I need to fix it.

I used most of a can of Goof Off getting about half of the adhesive removed from the tiles. And I completely destroyed an extra large green scrubbie. Still need to remove the other half, I cannot use the floor polisher given the size of the area I'm working on and the fact they don't want the current mat destroyed.

Is there something stronger than Goof Off that doesn't require a special license?

I have access to both Lowes and Home Depot.

Ceramic tile or VCT?
There are different grades of those scrub pads. Most hardware stores sell them. They will ruin VCT though. The same goes for most solvents that might do the job.
If it's ceramic tile you can use the scrub pads and Acetone or lacquer thinner. Both have powerful fumes though, and are flammable.
I have no idea what solvent you use for CA glue, though I know there is at least one.

OK I need to find out what they are, but thanks.
Also, I will go to the store and get acetone. Its cheaper than Goo Gone.
I already have a big fan. Tomorrow should be warm so I can leave doors open.

Just make sure it's ceramic, porcelain, granite, or some other stone tile...vinyl or asphalt tile (linoleum) aren't acetone safe.

yes it was ceramic, and yes alcohol and acetone helped.
I used acetone to get up the big chunks of glue, then let it dry, then cleaned up the residue with alcohol.

Looks good. Besides goo gone, they always said WD40 is another solvent that's good for removing old adhesive. Of course, I don't know if that can compare to acetone. If acetone doesn't do any damage, it may be the best method.

If it's the type of adhesive that stays gummy, try mineral oil.
It has done a fine job for me, a few times. no scrubbing needed, just wiping. But I haven't used it enough to know what type of adhesives are impervious.
It won't even mar the surface, like acetone.

Mineral oil is also what you need for dripped wax.
Just FYI.
