Everytime I go to either Amptron's, ECS's or PCChip's website, it is either down or extremely slow.

Are they fighting that MS SQL worm?

Or is something else going on. It is just frustrating trying get a BIOS or a driver update.

Accessing sites in Taiwan has always been slow for me. Might wanna try the U.S. mirrors.

All US mirrors are redirecting to the .TW sites.

I am not talking about the normal slow downs. This is much worse. Amptron's site has been down for 4 days now. It is just now starting to work.

Too much partying and not enough Tech support for website issues.

I think it's because of Chinese New Year. Productivity basically stops for a week.

A lot of companies shutdown for a week, but their servers too?

amptron, pcchips = suck! i cannot tell you how much money I blewed buying generic motherboard only to be frustrated with slow performance/constant lockup with even light gaming... avoid them like the plague or anything with onboard VGA, even with FAST processor it won't perform it's best. Otherwise, onboard sound, Lan is acceptable...the problem with onboard VGA is it's shared bandwidth with your sdram/ddr because they are too cheap to impliment it own's memory module which should fit on the mobo.

I am not debating the companies products.

I won't get into that. Although they have never given me any problems.
