Is there some kind of movie database?

I'm looking for a place that lists an A-Z list of all movies that did decently well at the box office, etc. (None of the independent, crappy stuff). I'm looking for movies to rent/watch, but I can't find a place that just lists movie titles.

I could look at IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, but would much prefer an A-Z list if anyone knows of one.

IMDB lists all kinds of crap in the listings though. TV Series, movies that never made it to film, etc.

I'm looking for maybe a smaller, 500 movie list of titles.
