Is there software that will allow a user to place music on an Ipod Nano with Windows 98?

Yea, they have 2nd edition - however it does not even show up as a harddrive in mass media mode.

Nothing, zilch. Itunes is only for 2000 and XP.

It is, but it makes sense. Everyone that has Firewire will most likely have USB 2.0 (but not the other way around) and removing Firewire support frees Apple from cramming another chip into the already diminished iPod.

You are forgetting those people with older Macs who may or may not have USB. If they do then it will more than likely be 1.1. Personally I think firewire is better...and no I don't have a Mac. lol
