I'm not a fan of the brown rice. Something about the texture is off.

Not everyone can handle the whole grain ruggedness of brown rice, and prefer the bran and germ stripped away before it gets polished nice and pretty before eating.

I was confused by the "multigrain rice" too. Then I googled:

Apparently folks have added a ton of non-rice stuff (barley, oats and shit) to brown rice and call it "multi-grain rice".

This isn't exactly just rice anymore then.


Yes, it's not just rice which is actually a pretty good thing imo than just eating plain rice whether white or brown. As for the naming convention, I don't see a problem with it.
