Well the Via KT133 & KT133A are for AMD Athlon processors so your Intel CPU will not fit or work with these boards, the main difference is KT133 is 200mhz FSB only where`s the KT133A is 266mhz FSB(for running at 133mhz)btw it can also run at 200 mhz FSB.

I believe your CPU is Intel Slot 1,so you would need Via Apollo Pro133A type board(for Intel Slot 1),The Asus P3V4X is your best bet(excellent stability),here`s the link ASUS P3V4X

You can also look at Intel BX boards which in general are more expensive then Via boards.

As near as I can tell, it's only one thing. Overclocking.

The older one ran 100 only, could go as high as 105 to maybe barely 110 before you couldn't boot. The newer A runs at either 100 or 133 depending on your chip. What's cool is that you can a 100 Athlon and lower the multiplier and run it at 133. Overall chip speed is the same, but the system runs that much faster. It's a big difference.

If you want a simple easy to do and cheaper PC, the old chipset is fine. If you want the newest, or want a 266 FSB C Athlon, or like to overclock, then you MUST get the 133A on your next board.

The Asus P3V4X is the best Via apollo Pro133a board period, however from the two you mention go to Anandtech review of each board here for the Aopen
& for the Gigabyte GA6VX-4X you will notice they are about the same but the Aopen is better on stability.
