Is there mp3 player software that will do this...

My plan is to convert all my CD albums to mp3 and store them on a dedicated home theater PC. I want to be able to playback albums/songs easily with a very user friendly GUI and maybe some type of search function. I don't mind organizing/renaming files and directories, but I need the interface to be simple for my wife/family/friends. The ideal thing would be for someone to simply type the name of an album or artist or song, and the software finds and launches it. I'm trying to stay away from a tree structure to make it as user friendly as possible. Anyone?
