Is there Hawaii broadband access? I'm moving there soon...

I'm moving to Oahu in December and i'd like to know what broadband services the islands have access to. I'm hoping for xdsl or cable. If anyone has any info, let me know. Thanks.

Go to DSLReports.Com and check availability at the ZIP code you are going to. Also check the regional report section since people often write helpful reviews.

lucky bastard, lol

If i was moving to Hawaii, i dont think i would be inside much on my computer, the only reason i am on today is because i got sunburned so bad this weekend i cant go outside 🙁

Roadrunner cable service is available almost all over Oahu.

I moved back to the Mainland after 8 years on the North Shore this year. The economy is way down but it's a really nice place to live especially if you like the beach/surf.

Yah, i am lucky, no doubt about it. My (twin) brother is an Army officer stationed there so i'm going to live with him rent free. I just graduated college a few months ago and i need a vacation and a chance at a new beginning. I'm hoping to start a web design business there part time. Two 23 year old single bachelors in Hawaii... ought to be a blast. Though, my gf of 3 years may be moving there a few months after i do so i should live it up before she comes down to slap on the ball and chain, lol!!!

I could make due with dial up but i love counter-strike too much to be a hpb and i'm used to my cable modem here in new york state.

yep, RoadRunner is all over.

I'm in the opposite situation...born and raised on Oahu, but now i'm living and working in Boston.

Boy do I miss home sometimes. The funny thing is, though, that after a couple of weeks at home, I can't stand it-it's TOO laid back and relaxing!

Hopefully when I make my first million or two, I can buy a home there.
