We have been using Itunes for a long time to maintain our music collection for our HTPC. Now my wife bought a Sandisk MP3 player and is finding Media Player combersome for making playlist and syncing with her sansa. Any way to be able to use Itunes?

I found a link to a plugin called "badapple" to enable syncing to non-apple players but the link was dead.

Edit: After more searching, I found that badapple was removed from every website that had posted it.

make a smart playlist which selects all your songs...extract the xml file, convert to m3u using this site, load with WMP and sync. I have an ipod and a yepp and I use this to sync my yepp. There's a plugin to itunes out there that lets you sync other players, but it doesnt work for me and randomly deletes some of my songs...i found this to be the best way to do it. Of course you have to do it everytime you want to sync, but it takes all of 3 minutes even with a huge playlist. Give it a shot
