Is it totally 100% dependent on genetics? Maybe certain diet? I'm 5'10" now a inch or two would be nice

My wife keeps telling me the same thing, an inch or two more would be ni.......Ummmm oh you talking about height.

It's pretty much genetic unless you were very malnourished at some point in your life. The only way you could possibly get taller would be to obtain some Human Growth Hormone. Of course, this is illegal as hell and would likely shorten your lifespan, but you'd be taller.

Do a search on Google or something. I got a spam email with some all natural pill that would make you grow 1-3inches in height..
Well this is a completely painful way and I have no idea it is true (I heard it on CSI, but it sounded possible enough)
From what I remember this person would have these metal pin like things put into their legs, then they would crack the bone in a place by like a fraction of a mm at a time. The pins would prevent the bone from rejoining and healing, so the fraction of a mm would heal between the bone and in effect cause you to be a fraction of a mm taller. Of course this would have to be repeatadly done to make yourself even an inch higher.
Like I said I have no idea if it is even true or not so leave any flaming alone if its physically impossible or something.

How is it illegal and detrimental to your health? I thought it was ok for kids to take it in extremely small doses. I forget what was the reason for taking it but it wasnt necessarily to grow taller the kid had some kind of rare condition and it was not being vertically challenged. Sorry Im so ambiguous.

LOLYourFace, sorry you couldn't choose your gene. But that's the primary factor. However, what you eat makes a difference too. We never lacked in that arena in my household, and we all came out taller, both boy and girls. We even all grew taller than or the same height as our parents.

It WOULD have been effective, but once the growth plates on the long bones close that is it. Like Fausto sail NOT recommended
